"I secured a few quotes from different landscapers and chose Fiorello Landscaping to level front yard, plant new sod, mulch and edge landscape, plant new golden mop shrubs, install a beautiful stone border that I was not expecting to be so nice. I also had new gravel installed in the front for parking since my block does not have sidewalks and river rocks put down on the side of my house. The previous owner just threw down 3/4 grayish-blue rocks that needed a touchup. Mr. Fiorello removed the old rocks, dug down three inches to level, and tamped and installed new rocks. Other companies for the same price wanted to just throw new rocks over the old ones however this landscaper went above and beyond. Lastly, they installed new gutters underground that direct the water to the street instead of dumping it close to the house. This company was on time and the owner was supervising and working along with his employees. The owner was professional, fairly priced (the job was done the right way and no shortcuts), and punctual. I will be having this company come back to install a new privacy fence later in the year."

"I hired Matt Fiorello to regrade my backyard and add a drainage system to manage the water during heavy rainstorms. I live in an area with clay soil that is not permeable causing water to run on the surface and threatening runoff to flood my home.
When Matt came to my home (wearing a mask) he surveyed the job and gave me an estimate the same day. I was unable to afford everything that needed to be done, but Matt was able to work with me on doing the grading and drainage leaving me to worry about the seeding and planting (I’m a big DIY person and a single homeowner so budgeting is very important to me). We agreed on the price and Matt scheduled it 2 weeks out of the estimate.
He delivered on what he said he would. Matt transformed my backyard from a risky flood monster to a great insurance policy from water damage.
A few things I appreciated in doing business with Matt:
1) extremely personable and easy to work with
2) VERY reasonable price for the amount of work involved
3) his workers were just as personable, indicative of great leadership
4) Matt planned the job well making multiple visits before executing the job
5) Matt came early on day 1 and stayed until sundown to complete the job on time (a big job that took 2 days. He was able to complete the job halfway through day 2)
6) Matt gave me advice on plans I had for my yard. Although I could not afford to have him do exactly what I wanted to, he was very thoughtful when giving me tips when I asked questions about future plans.
